Higasa’s expert on the condition of commercial real estate in Poland

In exactly one month’s time, on September 9, in Warsaw, the 5th “Investments in the Commercial Real Estate Market” conference will take place. Michał Ciapka, a member of the Management Board of Higasa Properties, is also among the many industry experts who will take an active part in the discussion. The event is organised by the “Eurobuild Central & Eastern Europe” magazine.

If you look at the data and analyse various reports, you can quickly notice that the condition of commercial real estate in Poland is really good. Even the organisers themselves speak along the same lines because in the official announcement of the September event they say: “Keep it up! This is the shortest summary of the condition of the Polish real estate investment market. This does not mean that it is easier, but definitely more is happening and sometimes you must go off the beaten track. The question is how to not go astray?” Among others, Michał Ciapka will look for answers to this question. The member of the Management Board of Higasa Properties will take part in the discussion entitled “How to keep the trade industry alive?”. “I am glad that we will have an opportunity to hold a discussion in such a fine group. The more so because the situation in Poland is really promising, as evidenced by the dynamic expansion plans prepared by the largest retail chains. Of course, satisfaction cannot cause us to ignore threats and lose our vigilance. Personally, however, I am an optimist and – speaking in medical terms – I believe that there is no need to fight to keep the industry alive, but it is enough to provide appropriate prevention,” emphasises Michał Ciapka.

The event will cover topics related to all areas of the commercial real estate market, i.e. the office, retail, warehouse market and alternative investment assets. Participants will include representatives of such recognised institutions in the industry as MDDP, Avison Young, Panattoni Europe, Colliers Europe, Atrium European Real Estate, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Ghelamco and CBRE.
