Debrzno ready for EDS Park!

EDS Park Debrzno (Pomeranian Voivodeship) is now officially operating. The retail park located at Czerniakowska Street started on December 19, and customers were welcomed by Centrum Delikatesy and Rossmann drugstore. The list of tenants will be completed by Pepco in January 2020. The investment, carried out by EDS Retail Park and Higasa Properties, with the support of individual investors within the Higasa Club, is the second one opened within a month. At the beginning of next year, the first stage of the park in Legnica (Lower Silesia) will be made available to customers, and further projects are pending.

“As it happens, at the end of the year we are closing the implementation of our first projects. So the summary of the year 2019 is very positive for us. Today we launched the retail park in Debrzno, one month ago in Opatów, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Meanwhile, we are finishing the construction in Legnica, where Biedronka will be the tenant. This means that we have practically built over 3500 GLA. This is not the end, as we design, commercialise and prepare documentation for further investments, including the second stage of Legnica as well as the largest project to date, a retail park covering 3,300 sq m in Reda. Far advanced works are also in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, where we sign further commercialisation agreements. For legal reasons, we cannot disclose the list of tenants yet. In addition, there is another location in the Masovian Voivodeship and in Lower Silesia. Our teams have quite busy schedules,” announces Michał Nowak, President of EDS Retail Park.

EDS Park Debrzno complements the commercial offer not only in the town itself, but also in more distant surroundings. Until now, the residents of Debrzno had to go to Człuchów (~ 20 km) or Złotów or Sępólno Krajeńskie (~ 30 km) for shopping in the Rossmann drugstore or Pepco store. Debrzno has a population of about 5100 people, while the entire poviat has about 57.000 inhabitants.

As in the case of EDS Park Opatów, the project has been implemented with the participation of individual investors who co-financed the construction of the facility as part of the Higasa Club. The rate of return is 6.5% per annum. “Thanks to the efforts of Higasa Properties, we have managed not only to acquire investors ready to finance construction, but we are also talking to the target investor of the entire park, which will thus enrich its portfolio. Upon its commissioning, Higasa Properties will take over the park’s administrative supervision. We create the best possible conditions for investing in commercial real estate for our clients. Together with EDS, we have built this park, at the same time we have acquired investors as part of the Higasa Club, and, after selling the park, we will comprehensively take care of its management,” explains Michał Ciapka, President of Higasa Properties.

According to plans, the implementation of the project in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki is to begin at the turn of the first and second quarter of next year. The retail park with an area of 1450 sq m will be located at Gen. Morawicza Street, in the vicinity of the Kaufland store and Media Expert electronics store.
